Avatar Blu-ray Issue

For Toshiba customers with PCs equipped with a Blu-ray Disc Drive and WinDVD BD For Toshiba Version 8. Please note this issue does not apply to Toshiba models preinstalled with WinDVD BD For Toshiba Version 10.

We have been notified that Avatar on the Blu-ray format cannot be played with WinDVD BD for Toshiba version 8 preinstalled on certain PC models. Avatar on the conventional DVD format is re-playable as per normal. This is due to recently added functions on the Avatar Blu-ray discs.

An update patch for WinDVD BD for Toshiba version 8 is available on our support pages.
