Spill Resistant Keyboard

The spill resistant keyboard concept will help safeguard the notebook from certain small volume accidental spills and allow users several minutes to close any open files and turn off the machine.

Please do not leave your computer if you spill liquid on the keyboard. If a liquid spill occurs on the keyboard (even a small amount), immediately perform the following:

Step 1.
Do not tilt the computer. Immediately shutdown the computer. If the touchpad is wet, wipe it with a dry cloth.

Step 2.
Unplug the AC adaptor from the computer

Step 3.
Remove the battery

Step 4.
Immediately contact your Toshiba Authorised Service Centre to have the computer inspected. An inspection fee will apply at the Toshiba Authorised Service Centre’s prevailing rates.

Toshiba does not provide any guarantees that the spill resistant keyboard will prevent damage or failure to the computer. Any damage caused by liquid ingress to the computer is not covered by warranty, please refer to our Limited Warranty Statement.
