Please note: Not all televisions support wifi, please check your product specifications here to confirm that this is supported.
1. Press the Menu button on the remote control (see picture below for remote control functions).
2. Select the Preferences menu, select Network Setup and press OK.
3. Select Network Type and then use the across arrow keys on the remote to select Wireless.
4. Use the up or down arrow on the remote to select Wireless Setup and press OK.
5. Select Assisted Setup and press OK.
6. This should bring up a list of the networks in your area. Select your network from the list using the arrow keys on the remote and press OK.
7. Select Security Key and press OK, this should bring up the Software Keyboard. Type in your network security key using the keyboard and then press the BLUE button on the remote.
8. Select Done and then press OK.
Further troubleshooting
The television isn’t accepting my security key.
The Security Key must adhere to these conditions:
TKIP/AES: 8-63 ASCII or 64 Hex characters
WEP: 5 or 13 ASCII or 10 or 26 Hex characters
I’m getting DNS errors on my television
If DNS is turned off you may not be able to access any of the internet features on your television. To turn this on; follow the instructions below:
1. Press the Menu button on the remote control (see picture below for remote control functions).
2. Select the Preferences menu, select Advanced Network Setup and press OK.
3. Use the arrow keys on the remote control to select DNS Setup and press OK.
4. Select Auto Setup and use the across arrow keys on the remote to select On.
My wireless isn’t working
Confirm that your television network type is set as wireless instead of wired.
