System Restore is a program built into the Windows® operating system that allows you to reverse changes made to Windows. This includes:
1) Programs that have been installed.
2) Configuration changes which have been made to Windows®.
The System Restore wizard does not erase your personal data files (such as Microsoft® Word documents, browsing history, drawings, favorites, or email) so you won't lose changes made to these files.
