Why should I secure my wireless network?

Securing your network means that people outside your home can not access your computer, files or internet connection.

When securing your wireless network, it is important that you use the strongest form of encryption your computer and router can support. The most commonly recommended and easiest to support is WPA-PSK. Securing your home network can be a complex process and you may need assistance.

NOTE: If after following the above steps, you would like further assistance on this topic, we recommend you visit Gizmo*, a 3rd party support company, at www.gizmo.com.au/services/network.html

*Gizmo is an external company providing computer support for a fee. No fix no fee applies. Toshiba accepts no responsibility for any services or advice obtain
